It is early morning in the Canadian forests. A herd of Woolly Mammoths is seen in a clearing, forming a circle around something. The mammoths are trying to protect one of their kind: A female at the end of her 20 month long pregnancy. On her own, she and her baby would be vulnerable to predators, but her herd stands vigilant and surrounds her. It's not long before her cries attract unwanted attention. A pair of American Lions hears the commotion and have come to investigate. The herd stays in formation and try to scare the hunters away.
